ACTIVE means: The backup is updated at the hour.

Local cloud folders

ACTIVE means: If you use its software from one of the supported cloud providers to keep the cloud files in the default folders locally on your disk, they are also backed up.

ACTIVE means: The files to be backed up are backed up compressed. For this purpose, so-called ZIP archives are created.

This saves storage space on your backup target!

ACTIVE means: You can password the backup.

The password must have at least 8 characters.

The files in the backup can only be recovered with this password.

For the encryption of the files, these are packed in so-called ZIP archives.

If you modify a file between two backup operations, Ciblu-backups will continue to have the original version in the backup. Up to 5 versions plus the current version are saved.

The versioned files are given a customized file name in the backup. This is extended by the time according to UTC (Coordinated universal time).

Deletion delay

If you delete a file between two backup operations, Ciblu-backups will keep the deleted file in the backup for another 30 days.

The subsequent backup deletes the file from the backup.
